Considering the cost of a caravan against the cost of membership for both clubs, I would advise you to join both and then make up your own minds as to which suits your particular needs best.

Everybody is different and everybody is looking for different things.

We have been members of both clubs for a very long time although we rarely use their Club Sites, far preferring their small 5-van type sites. These are less formal and less restrictive.

We are  members of both clubs but hardly ever use club sites, it's CLs/CSs all the way for us. We think the £80 odd per year is well worth it; some sites are as little as £10 per night (often not with loos/showers, you need to be prepared to use your own).
