can anyone help me please have a 51 plate Picasso 2litre diesel and want to buy a newer caravan anyone know how I find out about weight restrictions etc thanks

To start look ta your registration document V5 and check out the kerbweight of your car and the maximum towing capability (braked)

As a guide (it isn't law) look at ideally no more than 85% of the kerbweight or the max permitted tow weight , whichever is lower, as your max loaded weight you will be able to tow

Alternatively use www.whattowcar.com and out in details there as a guide. its should also give you your car's noseweight on there aswell

Are we talking C4 Picasso or the orginal Picasso. I guessing as its on a 51 plate its the later, but if it is the former than its most likely 1500kg, 60kg nose weight but check the tocar website mentined above.

We are talking old picasso - basicallly we have found a caravan but no little details and were away on holiday so don't have use of pc or log book etc - our car is 51plate the caravan is a vanroyce 470et tried to look on suggested site couldnt find that make -( as they Don't make them anymore !)Helllpppp lol

OK a quick google seacrh and depending on the spec level and year that van is either just under or just over 1300kg MTPLM. So if as suggest the original Picasso is 1300kg you need to choose your spec level / year carefully.
