But sadly really doubt ill get back out again this year. Haven't got any holidays left to play with and the kids go back to school soon anyway, and as my oldest starts S1 at high school so don't really want to harm his schooling by keeping him off one Monday

hi fife-bloke....we are heading to Gibson Park and I noticed you were the last person to review it on here.
Its about 4 -5 years since we were last there. We are taking our youngest grandaughter for a couple of nights.

Really looking forward to the break, its a great wee site.

oh im so jealous.yes its a brilliant site,excellent location,really well maintained and spotlessley clean.
we were on one of the pitches at the back of the site,next to the dog walk.really quiet and peaceful there.
i really hope you have a great time and Im sure you will,and your grandaughter will love the park next door

We're heading to Gibson park Melrose on Thursday wil our 23 month old and 11 week old. There for two nights and then up to yellowcraig. Hope the weather is good

As fife-bloke says Gibson Park is excellent and you can just walk into town in minutes.

Yellowcraig is also very good, again its about 4-5 years since we were there. You used to be able to order rolls and a paper from the wardens,
Not far from a great beach (walking distance).

Hope the weather is at least dry for you.
