We want to replace all the foam in our 30 year old van which atm has 30 year old foam too!
Two companies are telling me different things. One says the high density grade, the other reflex. Prices are similar for both companies but we want to make the best decision. Cushions are 4 inches deep.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks Jeff and Helen.
My understanding is that the high density foam is the same as the reflex but the lady on the phone said that the reflex has a 'bounce back' action so recovers more quickly when you take weight off it, for example. My husband is not a small chap! Has the high density foam proved comfortable to sleep on, Helen?

On a related issue.
When we had our cushions redone, we got them to take out the knee ridge. Bliss! A flat bed, and still just as comfortable to sit on.
Heaven knows why they insist on putting that knee ridge on every caravan seat.
They call it a knee roll but it's actually for those who sleep on single beds at night to stop them falling off the bed so it can't be a bad idea in the interest of safety.
I once had my cushions refoamed local to where the van was sited, not sure what exactly high density or reflex means but mine for £200 were refoamed with something akin to soft concrete!
Soon after otherwise under sentence of death from OH!, I had them completely replaced local to home at Regal Furnishings, (0115 9329988), a lot more money but fantastically comfortable and sentence commuted!
As then I don't know what this or that named foam might be, I do know you can get expensively caught! so why not ring Regal as I'm sure they will give you honest and truthful answers?

I have found it to be extremely comfortable and so has middle son who occasionally comes away with me.
I have back and joint problems and actually find I sleep better in my caravan than I do at home!
