Very interesting reading your replies. I suspect, colorde, that this was indeed not from somebody in this country. The reply that I got from an email I sent saying I would only accept payment straight into my bank (of which I have set up a separate bank account from my every day one for the purpose of receiving funds from whoever buys it) said "I am firm with Paypal". In other words, roughly translate the broken English to mean "I am telling you that I am only going to pay by Paypal and stuff any other option you want"!!!
Still no other interest in the van. I know it's completely the wrong time of year to sell, and, tbh, I don't want to part with it anyway. It's only that we aren't going to get the use now and we are paying back a hefty loan for it  .Desperately trying to convince hubbie to keep it as the children and I love it but I know it isn't financially viable to do so.
I just hope when the time comes, my buyer is an honest person, like I have been brought up to be and I think probably the majority of people in this country.
