Sorry folks a towing novice is about to speak....Bulldog stabilisers and other brands are they easy to fit and does any part of it stay on the car once unhitched. i ask because i am about to buy my first tourer after years of tents and T/Tents and have had no dealings with , Thanks in advance.....Steve
I have a big red handle thing on the front of our caravan, been told its a stabiliser, nowt stays on the car when its unhitched and i think alot of caravans have them fitted already.......i am a newby so my comment might be useless but im sure someone else will be along shortly with more experienced advice x

Bulldog stabiliser is for older style hitches. There will be a bracket supplied that will need to be fitted behind the towball, (the stabiliser will slide into this bracket and be secured with a pin) and this bracket will stay on the car all the time(or you could remove it and refit every time your going away)
