The roadworks at Team Valley area of Gateshesd have now gone..should you be passing on your bank holiday getaway. Just the usual chaos to contend with!!!

Only problem now is, next week (ish - 27th I think), they start the Moorfarm Roundabout roadworks.
That'll affect the A19 north and south bound, and the A189 spine road north and south bound.

Although I'm not down that way I think it's really good for locals/regular users to keep others up to date on major roadworks so a big thank you to BRYANMITCH.
I passed your earlier info on to friends I knew were heading north and who aren't UKCS forum members. They planned accordingly and passed info on to other non-camper friends. Thank you from them.

I use the spine road quite often.At least I can watch the planes coming in to land whilst I sit in the traffic jam! Ficklejade...hope I saved a few people from spending valuable holiday-time stuck in a jam....with 3 kids in the back shouting "are we there yet?"
Local knowledge is the best sort--no harm in sharing.
