Could the speed camera have been a contributory factor?
Not knowing any of the facts apart from the end results in the photo, here is one possible theory:
"IF" the towing vehicle or possibly a vehicle in front of the towing vehicle was breaking the speed limit, could their sudden braking for the speed camera have caused the car & caravan to become unstable to cause it to go out of control. I know the road and there is a good half mile beyond the speed camera until a roundabout which is usually sufficient distance to slow down gradually from 70 mph to zero to stop at the roundabout. Travelling along that stretch of road regularly, it's surprising how some motorists behave when approaching the speed camera, some cars doing 70 mph will slow down to 60 mph, others will touch their brakes regardless of the speed they are going indicating they don't know the speed limit on a dual carriageway.
