I'm currently in the pub working away from home tonight. Has anyone seen the article on the one show this evening, I saw them looking at caravans but the TV was muted!

Can anyone enlighten me what it's about?

Tyres = specifically the age of ti
yres. Pointing out what we all know, that they should be replaced after five years regardless of mileage.
I was talking to a tyre specialist manager the other day who told me that there was talk, unofficially in the trade, about the possibility of some legislation about age when car tyres should be replaced.
Yes, I know, we get rumours about all kinds of things. But it would make sense, logically.

It started with the awful coach accident where 3 people died, where one of the tyres was 19 years old.
There are guidelines about what age you should change your tyres, and in the grand scheme of things the annual cost of doing this spread over say 5 years isn't much.
