Greetings,
Instant answer. Yes BUT (big BUT)
Not all kettles are the same. Some require more Ooomph than others to get the water boiling.
Most modern kettles use a lot of watts (Ooomph)
Our kettle in our kitchen uses between 2530watts and 3000watts.
Sites in the UK have a maximum of 3840 watts at your disposal BUT (another big BUT) the 3840 is the absolute max at your disposal on a good day, with no one else on site, good weather, good connection etc etc. Bear in mind you might have other 'stuff' in use at the same time. Important things like, well, hair straighteners, curling tongs and, God forbid, the fridge or TV. If the sites electrics aren't the bees knees then our kettle would be too powerful for the site and we would be cut off at the fuse.
That's why you can buy a low wattage kettle of say 750 watts from caravan shops etc.that, although takes longer to boil but hey you're on holiday, doesn't make the fusebox blow, well, a fuse???
------------- How come when some people visit the fountain of knowledge, they only gargle!!!
