Just wondering on what peoples views are in respect to joining a caravans manufacturer owners club, and wether you feel it is good value?
Was considering joining the Coachman Owners Club, but unsure if it is worth it...
Can't comment on the Coachman OC but unless your van is two old or less the Adria OC is useless. Been the got the tea-shirt and left after the first years membership expired.

Elddis Owners Club do rallies but nothing much in our area. They have a Facebook page and a forum (I think) To be honest I didn't think there was any point in joining.

It must be remembered that owner's clubs have members all over the country and during a year may have only one rally near to your location.
We used to belong to the Lunar Club and managed to attend one rally in a year so gave it up. If you are into rallying better to join the CC or C & CC.
due to the fact we own a swift ,I opted to sign up to the swift owners own on-line forum ( swift talk ).
ok there's no 'organised' rallies, not really a consideration for us anyway as we haven't as yet done any and if oh has her way we won't be doing any time soon either.
but the forum has been a valuable source of manufacturer specific information when problems have occurred with our van, rather than the sometimes more generalised advice I have gratefully received from our friends on ukcs.
best of all signing up to such a forum is free
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
The Coachman Owners Club have their own website and will explain more in detail about the club but it states that there is an active junior club which really hasn't been active for a number of years now. However, if you do join I recommend that you go on the factory visit in Hull where the caravans are made usually in September time as it gives you an insight to how the caravans are constructed which is quite interesting if you have never been before.
Each owners club has a different constitution and aims. The Bailey Owners Club of which I am a member is a rallying club. If you don't rally then there would be no point in joining. Clubs normally have a website that will detail what they can offer - given the "relatively" low membership numbers (the BOCC have approx 600 units) it is difficult to offer members significant benefits although it is possible to get discounts through some insurers.
