I Have 2, you have to calibrate them to 100 & then when you switch to test the digital read out will give a reading, As an example a reading across my DRY finger tip is around 29 so far I have not had a reading above 20 in the van,& this has usually cleared when dryer weather has appeared
Both meters which cost under £10 when I bought them give the same readings & compare well with the readings obtained by my service mechanic protometer
But I did have to sharpen the prongs to enable less obtrusive pin holes when testing in the van
