I have a 3 way fridge electralux fitted to my boat, I can get the pilot light to work on gas but doesn't get cold also doesn't work on 12 volt. I don't have 240 volt fitted yet so don't know if it works on that. Any ideas or does anyone have a manual I could take a look at or down load.
Hi this websiteshould have a manual if you no the model number.
I dont really no much about fridges but it could be the cooling eliment gone. Apart from that im afraid i cannot help.
Hope you get it fixed

Make sure your gas bottle isn't nearing empty, as it happened to me recently. The gas cooker rings were still lighting but the bottle was nearly empty so the pressure was too low for the fridge to work on gas.
Another thing you can try is to turn your fridge upside down, leave for approx half an hour, turn up the right way, leave for another half hour to settle, then try again. Sometimes the pipes get dry and they need upending to wet them again.
Hi ive just been looking through the Haynes caravan manual i was given a few days ago and as Jax365 mentoned.
I says after a long lay up period this type of fridge was prone to this happening due to an air lock. cure acording to book is to remove and invert it for at least 1 hour and then replace it.typically it should work untill the end of the season.

As above. Take it out and turn it upside down. Could also be a partially blocked gas jet. Not that difficult to remove and clean though through the lower vent on a caravan. On a boat though it might be harder.
Out of interest, how do you vent a fridge on a boat? Doesn't it take in water through the vents?
I agree with the suggestions above about turning it upside down (I used to do it when I was a lecky in the merchant navy)but I think you would have to leave it inverted for a bit longer than an hour.If it was mine I would leave it upside down for a couple of days giving it a gentle shake now and then.If its still in the boat and its afloat you probably don't need the shake.
