Hi, Just wondered if anyone based in the Bury/Bolton/Manchester areas have an aquaroll and/or waste water container they are wanting to sell? There are a few on ebay but not local. We've just bought our caravan but need to get these before we can take our maiden trip - but no pennies left for new ones!!

Have you checked out the

on this site (see link towards top of page), plus the likes of Preloved and Gumtree? A quick Gumtree search for example returned an Aquaroll in the Manchester area, so worth a search on either of those.

Hi, yes I've checked on here and on preloved, and because the listing on gumtree is over 25 days old I assumed it would have been sold. No worries, I'll keep looking!

Handle yes, Hose depends on the campsite.

Some have a tap that may or may not suit your container and some have a short pipe fixed to the tap.

Our local caravan dealer always has second-hand bits and bob s going cheap. Not sure what there is near you, but could be worth a try. As a stopgap, what about a 5l water bottle for clean water and a bucket for grey water?

I was just about to suggest the same thing! I managed like this for a season before I sorted the water system out... I still have a bucket for grey water, it's easier to empty and to store.

I bought one of these to fill a small fiamma 26ltr water container.

Not being an idiot ! But u have a bought a caravan ( new? ) yet u can't afford the 2 most important thing's required ? I take it you have a leisure battery? , hook up lead ? , chemicals for the toilet? , hitch lock ? , wheel clamp ? , insurance ? The list goes on to be honest. It just seems a bit nieve from yourself that you are asking about aquaroll etc !

Not naive at all, we have everything else we need but the owner wanted to keep the waste water container and aquaroll for his next caravan. The caravan was at the top of our budget but we fell in love with it and decided to buy it, and wait for the other stuff we need.

We don't have an Aquaroll, just 2 x 10 gallon plastic containers. One for fresh, the other for waste, along with a plastic sack cart to transport them around the site. No problem, no real expense. I just wish the missis wouldn't use so much damned water!

I live in Greater Manchester and just bought a Wastemaster from Gumtree for £20 including bag. It had been advertised for 21 days and thought it must have gone but fortunately for us it was still there. Picked it up from a house six miles down the road.Keep looking on Gumtree as one will sure to turn up soon.

There's one on Ebay just down the road from you.
