I usually like to have anything I sell spotless. However, when I sold the countryside, I didn't have any chance to give it a good scrub as I'd actually given up on selling it that year, and the van was ready for winter.
Guy approached me out the blue asking to see the van the next day.i explained it wasn't in an ideal state but he wasn't bothered, and i couldn't even bring it to the house as our towcar was getting mot repairs, and the storage had no water or electric.
He bought the van with no complaints at all and said at least it was lived in,but he loved it.

Ours didn't even have the loo emptied when we bought it.
Urghhhh now that is gross!
Ok so we've had our 1st weekend away & already there's a problem. Nothing major but was very annoying! The sink waste trap needs changing. Washing up water has been leaking into the cutlery drawer & has left the drawer all warped. Also we need 2 give the upholstery a good clean. It looks fine but has dog hairs here n there. My hubby woke up with red eyes.
Oh by the way it's an 06 crusader superstorm. Lovely van but very strange being in a narrower van after having the hobby. Hubby is not exactly ecstatic about it cause he loved the hobby. I wanted something smaller so we could tour out of season. I've already booked up the Butlins campsite for the kids next month.
The only thing I didn't clean was an old car which I part exchanged on a whim but it was still cleaner than when I bought it,
When I bought my house it looked awful smelt and was full of black bags of rubbish but 2 weeks couple of bottles of bleach, couple of gallons of paint and some new carpet and it was spotless I think it depends on the people who are selling but it doesn't put me off buying dirty
