As per title, looking at a fortnight in Cornwall next year and ideally want to have everything in place sooner rather than later. What I'm ideally wanting is a site near the m6 maybe halfway down to Cornwall, where we can stop and set up for a night on the way down, and on the way back home again.
Needs to be a family friendly site, cheers all

hi
We did a similar journey this year, from southampton to dumfries, we stopped at kendal on the way up, at the caravan club site, and at High onn on the way down.
both were more than suitable for an over night stay.
most people recommended smaller CL sites just off the motorway. it all depends on your preference and idea of arrival times. good luck and enjoy the trip.

Si ideally you would want a site not very far away from Stoke on trent. Which is virtually halfway between Glenrothes and St ives ( i picked two places one in fife and one in cornwall )
The cc cl called butteron grange would be in a perfect position for you.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
