hi, could anyone please give me the name of a pub site or caravan site with hook up that is very close to the monsall trail. we are travelling from the stoke on trent end.

Don't know of a campsite near to the start of the trail but can recommend the walk. We did it before all of the tunnels were open. If you are able miss out the tunnels and walk over the trails that take you over the tunnels. You won't be disappointed with the views down into the river valley.

We've just spent the bank holiday at Beechcroft Farm & had a lovely day cycling the monsal trail which you can get to from the campsite.
You do have to go down quite a steep rocky track to reach it which can be difficult with children & bikes. The campsite is lovely.
