Hi there. I don't know anything about Ace Caravans, but I have owned a Swift before and currently have a Swift Motorhome. Ace are part of the Swift group.
Sometimes I completely overthink decisions like this - so it's best not too take too many of the reviews to heart! My best advice to you, is that you make sure you get a full habitation history of the caravan. All caravans can get damp and I'm afraid Swift have been a bit of a bad offender on that front. My Swift caravan was fine, but I've had problems with a damp floor in my MH. A lot of dealers won't go into the damp issue too much, so buy yourself a damp-reading meter - they don't cost a lot and it means you can check for yourself. Look out for signs of mould growing - not just on the surface of units and furnishings, but also UNDER the seats (the ones that life up).
Please don't be put off - by their very nature, caravans can get an amount of damp, especially when you're not using them (as, like a house, they need the windows open and heating on etc).
I know lots of people who have enjoyed long, happy times in their Ace and Swift caravans. Just thoroughly check it out. Do your damp checks and ask lots of questions about past servicing and habitation checks. And once you've made your purchase, take care of it. Air it every so often when you're not using it.
