Had a look at tyres on my van and cant find any code for the date they were made, So looks like I need a new set of shoes.

Now the tyres say 175 R 13 but no actual depth from rim to tread. I'm thinking is 65 but not 100%.

Its for a 1995 Sprite Musketeer Clubmen Super C at 1060 Max KG.

If the tyres say 175R13 on the sidewall this size is now often indicated as 175/80R13 so that is your replacement size. You would be better to have commercial van tyres for that caravan to give you adequate load rating.

So the size you want is 175/80R13C. Although some makes will still be indicated as 175R/13C this one for example.

For a 1060kg van you will need a pair of tyres with a load index of 94 to 97.

I'd recommend having a look at Event Tyres. I've used these several times and found them to be the most competitive, plus they will come and fit the tyres wherever you like - driveway, van storage etc.

They currently show a Maxxis trailer spec tyre, 175/80R13 97N UE168 for about £68 all in.

Thanks for the reply guys, Local garage that I have used for over 10 years is changing for £60 each ;)

getting spare done tomorrow as its well knackered "Cracked all round sidewall" and getting other 2 done after pay day.
