I've got an old caravan I'm looking to get rid of as we have been unable to use it for the past year and it seems silly to continue paying to insurance and storage costs. How best do I go about doing this? Its not something I've done before, assume they don't have places you call like you would if you were scrapping a car. I'd love to think I could get something for it but thats unlikely. At 30 years old, no fridge or functioning water heater and some damp in the bathroom it would be unrealistic to think anyone would give me any money for it. The chassis is fine (serviced last year), windows & doors could be re used by someone, sink & hob are relatively new ... there are some positives. Storage people would be unhappy if we had it sitting there with no windows etc. so its not going to be possible for us to remove them to sell somewhere. I would however like to get something for the motor mover which is 18 months old, hardly used and in excellent condition - only problem is removing it without any means of jacking up the caravan to gain access to it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
