1. If you stick it securely you'll have a job getting it off without mangling the ally skin of the 'van.

2. If you stick it on the ally skin there won't be any airflow behind it and it'll get very hot. Panels lose efficiency when they get hot.

That is a suprisingly good price for a flex-panel, but for the points raised by Al+Mel, I wouldn't bother. I have read of efficiency issues with these panels due to their fixing method and lack of decent air flow.

Hi All,

Thanks for replies.
I already have a 85 watt rigid panel which I stuck to the roof several years ago, which gives me anough power during the summer.
But I wanted to add to it, so I could go longer in the winter without ehu.
This semi flexible seemed a very good price, but hav'nt heard from anyone who has actually had one fitted.
