Has anyone replaced the Roofvent in a Conway cardinal? Any problems ? I know I have to cut a bigger hole to fit the new vent, as none available in old size.

Not done on that model specifically, but it's pretty much the same process regardless of what the van is.
For ease, I'll refer you to this useful site where a guy named Lawrence has detailed a skylight upgrade in some detail.
