Afternoon all, My hand break is quite hard to apply on the van "Compared to say a car" is this normal as its hold van all ok just sometimes takes a extra pull to make sure it wont go anywere.

have found this interesting as we always used to pull the handbreak vertical, but on the last service, the service chap told us they do not need to be vertical and it only stretches the handbreak cable and creates a issue that it could smash through the A frame.

this year we have done as we have been told and not applied the handbreak to a fully vertical position and our van hasn't rolled away while we've been sleeping .

so which way is correct???
