Was a pity as it was a nice van apart from that one corner, nice layout and spacious inside considering it was a 4 berth with a max weight of 1000kgs. Found the same van in other places now but they seem to be about half as much again in cost!

You clearly like it, so is it worth getting an AWS registered mobile engineer to check it over and give you an idea of the cost to fix? If it is an honest sale and really is a lot cheaper than others of its type there is a chance that it could still be viable. A professional report could help you to drive the price down further perhaps.
