Hi

We have a Coachman Amera 560/6 2007 model.  It has a rear door next to the bunk beds which is for accessing storage in that area.  We went out for our second trip in the van on Saturday and the inside of the rear storage door was very wet (condensation) which led to the moisture transfering to the kids bedding who were sleeping in the bunks.  Is this a known / normal problem or do i need to be taking the van back for the rear seals to be fixed / replaced ?

All vans get condensation when being slept in esp when its cold outside, Dry up with a towel to get rid and use some Calcium Chloride in a bowl to draw moisture away from area and ventilate.

This on surface yes not under wood or dripping in ?? Pics always good if poss

i would do as said above, then get the van up to normal living temp, and check with a damp meter,just to be on the safe side, your van is now 6 years old,i keep an eye on mine regular ,then any moisture changes can be nipped in the bud without any damage

As I have just bought it I think I will ring the dealer and get them to check the seals under warranty as I was surprised at the amount of moisture plus when I opened the door in the afternoon there was water in the black rubber seal

Good idea, but I would borrow if you don't want to buy, a damp meter, take your own readings, then let the supplier do the same, you don’t want him pulling the wool...
