Hi, not sure where to post this query - if a more appropriate forum please advise.
My Mother-in-Law is selling her caravan and has asked me to find its value. Where do I start! Have googled, but not many options fit the bill exactly. It is an Elddis, Queensferry 482, 2002. Am I right in thinking this is a dealer special? If so, what model is it similar too?
The queensferry range were dealer specials only sold by Flintshire caravans in queensferry. probably based on an avante 482.The serial number on all of the windows would tell you..it should end with ..ava then four numbers eg ava0123.
It sounds like an Avante, does it look like the one I listed above? If it's similar you could look up recent sold prices on ebay to give you an idea of the current market value.
It is indeed based on the Avante, it is a Flintshire caravans special edition.
I don't think you would go far wrong asking around £3,500 - £4,000 just for the caravan. Don't forget though that if there are any extras - Awnings and Motor movers etc you might get a bit more.
