We started out with Caravan Guard but we found that we like Camping &Caravan Club better and then the touring caravan was Sold in July 2013 due to ill health .
Caravan Guard require you to have an approved wheel clamp fitted when on site or in storage, incuding at home. I asked if I could pay a higher premium to have this exclusion lifted, but told no. As anyone with an ALko wheel lock will know these are virtually impossible to fit if the caravan needs side-to-side leveling on a pitch. I changed to Caravan Club and paid extra to have the wheel clamp restriction removed.

However........
For some obscure reason even if you normally live in a building that consists of 4 brick walls and a roof, while having a Continental Touring Caravan, either on the drive or in a secure compound when not being used, they will not insure you!
They slipped up once and offered me a policy for £200 which went up by 50% the next year even though we had not made a claim, just so I would take my policy elsewhere, I did and have not regretted it!
How kind.
Don't know if this is specific to your make of caravan but we have a continental van (but with UK spec) and have been with them for several years now. They were very quick when an arsonist set fire to the van outside our home (we keep it our new one in storage now) and we only lost two years no claims upon renewal after this major claim.
