Jack it on the chassis close to axle as possible.

Axle to Chassis joining plates, or on the ends of the axles. Never anywhere else on the Chassis.

To add more detail. If you look underneath you will notice extra reinforcing metal around chassis where axles are fitted, jack on that if you can. If you are using a general purpose bottle jack you will probably need blocks of wood under jack & between jack & chassis.
Due to shape of axle it might not be safe to jack on this & doing so may compress suspension enough to make wheel removal difficult. It is better to buy a caravan specific jack which will include jacking points that bolt to chassis. If using a non specific jack then common sense about safe usage must particularly prevail, ie try to avoid reaching under 'van while jacked etc.
------------- Regards, Jack+Jon.

It is far safer jacking up a caravan when the caravan is attached to the towing car. It can readily otherwise rotate off the jack as the van pivots about the other wheels bearing. Coupling up ensures the van can't swing as described.
Another useful tip particularly when dealing with punctures is the use the towcar to haul the punctured wheel up on blocks so gaining "working" clearance for the jack.

on or just behind the plate near the wheel, depends on shape of head to the jack.if U shaped use the axle to lift.
hand brake on and use axle stand as well.chock wheels to prevent twisting of caravan.it can happen as you lift.

Dont jack it on the chassis. Axle and axle mounting points only.
Get a nice wide based jack. You dont want it to lean and wobble when taking a wheel off.
