Hi all never posted on this part of the forum so please be gentle
Me and my wife have been to the NEC today and amongst the usual lineup what impressed us the most was the Adria stand there new vans are great and perhaps apart from the bailey Orion's which they are not producing anymore :-( are the only vans or mh's that would pull us away from our tents
What are your ideas of the new range of Adria's
------------- April Peak District Beech Croft Farm
May Peak District Duke of York
May Holland Delfse Hout
June Cotton Arms Nantwich
july/aug Cornwall Pentewan Sands
And quite a few local weekenders

We've a 2013 Adria 542DT and love it. Easy to tow, durable GRP sides and great bathroom. The only things ours lacks they have added for 2014.
Dual fuel heating
Additional kitchen work top
TV aerial.
We've fitted all these now plus a powrtouch mover and shock absorbers.
Any questions please ask, we would recommend Venture caravans to buy from. They have their own special editions which ours is, with additional spec over std models. Most important one is Alko stabiliser.

We weren't impressed. But we did find 3 vans we liked and eventually came home a bit lighter in the wallet department!

We've got the same as checkley and also love it! Yes they have put some differences in place in the 2014 but I'm not so sure these add up to the £1200 price increase. The only real differences I see are the electric heating element on the fire and the larger roof light. They have swapped the sattellite system for the status aerial which are about the same price.
HOWEVER, I do think that the price of the 2013 models were cheap for what we got, £13,990 for a brand new caravan with ALKO 3004, spare wheel, satellite system, fitted motor mover, carpets and other bits, not to mention the 10 year water ingress warranty is a really great price!
The price increase to £15,190 brings the Adria Sportline DT in to line with other brands of caravan with comparative specification and I would still recommend one to anyone for many reasons (one being the huge bunks) the addition of the 7 berth option and the new 6 berth layout are also worth a look.
I would also recommend going to see the guys at Venture Caravans, they are fantastic! Their sales people and other staff are lovely, helpful and can't do enough to help. We've had after sales contact with them on a couple of occasions for 1 very minor/newbie problem and another in relation to the fridge. I can honestly say that the staff went beyond the call of duty to help us out. We've found them a great company to deal with and will probably travel the extra to get ours serviced by them although there are a couple of Adria approved servicers closer to us.

The Adria's had some nice layouts but what,s with the oven
placement above the fridge on some models, the grills at my eye level 6' 2" the wife would be in danger of hot cheese on toast on her head, even the oven is to high for safe operation for anybody under 5'6".
