After years of tenting we have decided to buy a Caravan. We ordered a new Elddis at the NEC on Sunday. Although we have loved our tents it will be lovely not to have to set up and take down in the pouring rain. Really excited and looking forward to February.

We went for the elddis rambler which is the dealers special affinity 550 with lots of extras. We specifically wanted the washroom and toilet in the middle of the van and this one fitted the spec. Really looking forward to it

That's what I am looking forwardq to - just plugging in and being ready to go. Don't get me wrong I love my tents but really feel the need to make things more simple now

Ooooo...envious! We've been debating the pros/cons of the 540 vs 550 Avante and Affinity! Which dealer does the rambler? We saw the Chatsworth on the Avante from Glossop caravans, which basically brings the spec up to Affinity levels, but minus the Alde heating.
I do like the Elddis', but the Bailey Pegasus Verona is also being considered.
It's Wandahome (knottingley) that has the Rambler. You are right it brings the spec up to an affinity the only difference being the Alde heating. I liked the affinity but think the wood is slightly too dark for our taste. The Rambler has the lighter coloured wood that is in the avante.
