Hi all, our thetford fridge in the caravan is beeping every couple of minutes and I'm not sure what's wrong. We've tried disconnecting the battery for 20 mins, lighting it on gas...... It works but still beeps. It's running on electric hook up at minute...... Working but still beeping. Can anyone shed any light?? It's driving me crackers. If there's no ideas as to what it could be then it looks like a warranty job :0(
You've probably checked this already, but are you sure it's the fridge and not the alarm (which could be situated somewhere near to the fridge) beeping every couple of minutes showing that the alarm battery is low on charge?

Thanks guys but none of the above. No alarm, smoke alarm fine, door closed :0( I've rung dealer today but they are stumped too and tech guys aren't in today. Ill phone Monday, see if there's any joy! Thanks again!
Change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, nothing else I'm aware of in the Adria to make a beep and I've done a fair bit of dismantling and improvements to our 542 DT

Thanks checkley but it's not the alarms, they are at the opposite end of the caravan and the first things I checked. Going to ring venture tomorrow and speak to one of the tech guys, failing that, I'll phone thetford.
When a similar thing happened to me it was my alarm clock in the nearby drawer! I also have one of those mini weather station gadgets and that has a low temp alarm that goes off at about 5C to remind me to think about what I am going to do with the aquaroll if it looks like freezing.

Try turning the thermostat to 0 and then back up
To the temp you want.
Apparently they can beep, usually when a safety cut kicks in if the fridge is operating in a room of 110 degrees F. Follow the above to reset it. It may be your fridge is faulty as I can't imagine you heated you van to this temp ?
