In high winds when in your van does your roof "BOING" cant think of a better way of describing it ..... we were away October half term week in Brean in the supposed hurricane ....the 1st weekend although windy wasnt as badthe roof sounded like a wobble board !!! Is this a normal thing or do we have a problem ?

Never had that. But when strong wind hits there will be turbulence when it is deflected by the caravan. The air near the van will be slowed, rise up and be met by the faster higher wind causing it to make vortices: Little bits of spinning air. I guess that could cause a wobbling sound.

The blind fitted to the Remis roof light rattles on the wind....sounds like loose slates !!
I'm glad you said that. Is this normal or not? We have cut a cheap sink sponge up in to thin strips to stop it rattling at night as it keeps me awake when the winds up.
