good result.remember the pressure for blowing out the water should not go above 15 psi - 1bar. to prevent damage to internal fittings.fit a pressure gauge in line and bike pump will work.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
I open the taps and take the plug out of the water inlet system, stow the plug in the car and drive home with it out. I replace the plug when the caravan is parked up in the storage yard, and the system is fully drained down when we get back,I do this every time we come back from a trip. I don't know if I'm doing right, but I'm just doing as I was advised by someone who has been caravaning a lot longer than we have.

the correct way is to drain before you leave the site.
you should not transit with large ammounts of water on board because the fittings are not designed for this, and water could cause instability on the move.

we open taps and take the plug out but even when we return to storage there is still water hence why we now blow it out it eans there is no ( or very little ) water left at all .xx

Similar to what I did last year, I took the head off the shower, and opening one tap at a time blew down the shower hose until all water was out of the system.
This worked well for me.
i did the same today leeb. but i closed both taps before i blew down the shower hose.
our drain plug is in the bottom of the water pump and the wife could hear air coming out of the drain plug so i'm taking it that there is no water in the system .
FWIW, before I set off home from our last trip, I opened all the taps, including the shower, opened the drain valves and drove home. When I got home, I closed them all again. Simples!
