Ok so I've narrowed my search down to two four berths & two six berths. Can you help me decide pretty please?
Sterling europa 620 (09 model) 4 berth. 1 owner from new, serviced in May. Extras are awning with annexe, motor mover, hitch lock, waste master, ehu lead & step. I've negotiated the price down to £10200 from £10750.
Ace supreme twinstar (08 model) two awnings, ground sheet, hitch lock, wheel locks, aqua roll, waste master. £10000. This van has the large fridge I'm after for my seasonal pitch.
Bailey ranger gt60 6 berth (09 model) awning + annexe, porch awning, inner tent, hitch lock, aqua roll & waste master. £10500.
Finally a Bailey pageant loire series 7 6 berth (08 model) this one is from a dealer with an awning & 6 months warranty. £9950 (haven't haggled with him yet) ok my only reservations about this van is the fact I viewed one locally that had just come in & had a patch of damp under the front window. I remember a few yrs back reading reviews telling of similar problems with this model so a bit dubious of buying one. Ok then which one would you go for. Obviously a 6 berth would suit us better if all the kids came away with us out of season but to be honest the two eldest aren't keen. They prefer coming down to the seasonal pitch & 9 times out of 10 sleep in the awning.

I would go for a six berth, you can never have enough space to move around as a family, and sooner or later there will probably be Grandchildren to consider, or partners of the teenagers who would like to tag along for a weekend break.
Personally, l have never been a fan of Bailey caravans, partly because of hearing so many horror stories with them suffering with damp at quite an early age, which have appeared to be higher than the average percentage of most other makes. If the Ace has the larger fridge that you need, and the rest of the factors suit, 6 berth, damp free, good price, then l would go with that one. If you bought any of the others that didnt match your needs 100% then you would only sit in your new caravan and feel 'lf only we had bought the one with the big fridge, or l wish we didnt have to put the awning up in this bad weather to accomodate the teenagers'
Its an expensive purchase, dont rush into it, take your time, you have all winter to track down the right caravan for you, there are plenty out there, and only buy if you feel totally happy about the caravan your considering, dont settle for any shortfall in your wish list that you may live to regret.
