we are new to this section of the forum having been Tent users up until Friday when we purchased our first van which is a 2001 Elddis avante 475 . Now the reason for the post the van has a Horrex flyscreen for the door but we can not see what keeps it in place as there is no catch on the opposite side of the door frame , there is a piece of plastic so we don't know if this is a broken catch does anyone have a similar screen that they maybe able to tell us how it should work or even a picture .

many thanks Chris & Debs
Our Corona 505 has one .On the edge which slides out is a small plastic fitting with hooks.Close the screen with the handle and lightly clip these onto the frame. The rewind tension will keep it open. To close just disengage and allow it to close slowly.Hope this helps

Been back out to look on ours on the edge that slides out there is the handle to pull out the screen on the side facing out of the van it has a brown plastic piece that looks like it would clip onto either the frame or some other device on the opposing frame it cant clip onto the frame at the handle comes up against part of the van furniture before it can make a lock the only way i was able to stop it closing was to push the handle itself behind the frame , it does not look quite right i will try and post a picture tomorrow and you someone can tell me how dim i am being lol
