Hi, I have a homemade version of the Floe drain down kit.Using a digital compressor set at 15 psi I only managed to purge water from the bathroom hot and cold taps but nothing from the shower or kitchen tap. My van does not have on board tanks just the standard Truma Ultrastore. Before opening any taps with the compressor off the pressure remains constant at 14psi. Am I doing something wrong? Regards Tony
Birdman101, yes I am building up the pressure after opening up each tap. Jeff I am concerned about all the stale water left in the system over a period of time. I have never had a problem in the ten winters I have owned the caravan with freezing up. Regards Tony

How do you do that?
Hi Veema..you use this stuff by mixing it in water in the water barrel then you pump it through the water system.its left for about 2 hours then flushed out..

Why ?they have a van now !! come on keep up lol :)
Veema we don't do ours as we don't drink or cook with the tap water it's done to remove any bacteria that may be present as the vans pipes aren't used all the time iyswim
i have used milton for 12 years without a problem to clean the pipes out,not had a problem (safe for babies) we only used bottled water for teeth and drinking anyway.after reading all the reports on here i think the puriclean powder would be a better bet.my pump although cleaned fully before the summer time once froze up,could not believe the yuk that came out of it after defrost.would not have liked to drink from it.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
