Our 2011 caravan was serviced recently and it was discovered that there was 60% damp in the front nearside panel and 60% damp in the nearside floor. At that reading normally the structural integrity is affected.
The repairs will be done under warranty, but we are very concerned at 60% damp at the second service especially as it was used for less than 30 days in the past year.
We can understand how they might repair the front panel, but have no idea what needs to be done to repair the floor. Any one offer any input.
As the dealer has been messing us about quite a lot, we are seriously thinking of rejecting the caravan even though it is 2 years old as it has been pointed out to us that at that level of damp, it was probably missed on its first service.
