They sent an email in December and told us that the damp they had found the year before was no longer there :/

Other than that, not a peep. Been trying to phone them for a couple of days now but no answer. Just emailed them through their website but don't expect a reply from that TBH.

I am absolutely livid!

Just a quick update, as in another forum.



Went to Larbert yesterday afternoon and it was all locked up. One solitary caravan in the main area but couldn't see round the back.

There was a notice on the front door directing any communications to:



BDO Services LTD, Glasgow,

Tel: 0141 249 5229



I called the number and gave them my mobile number to contact me back on. 15 minutes later someone called my house number(?) and luckily my wife was there to take the call. So they obviously had my number but why didn't they contact me before now?



Anyway, Raymond was very helpful and gave me directions to where it had been in storage for the last month or so. The service and warranty work had been carried out and it was ready to go!!



I've left it there for now as Raymond is going to finish a job that hadn't been done but it should be ready for Tuesday or so. Also looks like Raymond will be doing my servicing from now on too.



Happy ending thank God!



PS I still have to pay for the service although I'm not quite sure who gets the money....

I am shocked....I bought my van from them and still have time on the warranty. I liked Andrew he was a decent guy and a few of the others.

I can remember my dad buying his first van from them back in the 70's.

I have to say tho the service I have had has been shockingly bad...van has been back so many times and the blow air still not working.....Shocked and a bit sad.

My father in law bought a used caravan from there a few years back.
It ended up being a wreck and he felt really conned by them.
You can be sure that the owner will still be driving around in his fancy big car
and living in their big house and will have their money locked away while decent van owners will be left out of pocket. I hope if they have been conning people out of deposit money or deliberately not paying bills etc that they get taken to court. Nasty owners who never once thought of the customers deserve all that is coming to them.I hope they are never allowed to open up again elsewhere after this. Its called KARMA.
