Could someone give me an idea of adequate pitch sizing please?   I'm looking at a site which says the pitch sizes are 90-100m2 and it's made me realise I have no concept of what size is adequate. We currently have a 7.2m van and use a full awning for our summer trip, but may be switching to a twin axle before the summer - logically 90m2 should be fine but I can't visualise how much space we need round the edge of the van...

100sq m is a fair size, pitch it's like 10 metres square, or 10 metres for the length of your 7.2 metre van and 10 metres for the width of your 2.? Metre van so plenty room for your full awning

Thanks! I'd missed your reply to this so apols for my delayed response. I guess as long as there's room to fit van, awning and car on there we don't need a great deal more (though the washing airer/bikes/BBQ do usually start to spread out further as time goes on :-))

You could always measure it on the ground and mark it all out to give you a better idea sounds a good size pitch to me though xxx

90 - 100 mtrs sq is a decent sized pitch. It gets a bit tight down to 75 sq mtrs.
