Hi everyone, just put a £50.00 deposit on a Kampa Rally Air 390 awning to pick next Saturday, my question is simple enough, do these go up & down as fast as they say? If there are any owners of one that would be kind enough to comment please do as I'm quite excited at the prospect of starting our jollies stress free
Thank's for the reply Bob, I had read it takes about 20 seconds to inflate & around 5 to 10 minutes total construction time. That sounds impressive enough for me & with a bit of luck it could become our permanent choice as the Isabella as nice as it is takes quite a while.
I intend buying the new Kampa Fiesta LUCKILY I have an automatic pump I use for my inflatable boat I was concerned about over inflating the tubes with the hand pump as on a hot day they would expand ?
anyway my pump has a preset pressure they are now advertising them for inflatable awnings
cheaper at boat shops Bravo BP12 12V Electric Pump
------------- Sometimes your the dog and sometimes your the Lampost
This is easy. Refer to my last post it was the 260 I helped put up but this video show how easy it is. The pump is easy to use it works in both directions.
Hi.
We bought a kampa air last year. It was great. For the first 6 times we used it. Then all the internal air valves split which meant we couldn't use it. Kampa picked it up and refunded our money as it was a common problem.
Hopefully they have resolved the problem but it has put me off..
maybe it wasn't clear what my point was ?
its not the time it takes to pump its getting the EXACT pressure
I don't like the idea of spending £500 smackers on something then pumping it up too hard and buggering up the valves when the sun comes out and heats it up
makes you wonder why ? this is sold

Impossible to do with the supplied pump.
Taken from kampa website.
Attach the pump to the inflation point and pump until inflated. The tubes are high pressure so you can’t over inflate with the pump supplied.
The AirFrame is incredibly durable and under normal conditions will not fail. Each AirPole is made of a strong TPU inflation tube that is zipped into a tough reinforced PE cover. This is then zipped into a heavy duty polyester sleeve in the awning. The inflation tubes are well protected and need no maintenance. Ideal operating pressure is between 8 and 12 psi and the poles are tested to 22 psi, a pressure that is not possible to reach using either the supplied pump or the optional electric pump. Should one of the AirPoles be damaged, each AirPole can be isolated from neighbouring poles using the isolation valves. A repair to the AirPole or replacement can then be made. Damage to a single AirPole may not make the awning unusable.
We bought a 390 last year, with the pump supplied it takes a lot longer than 20 seconds and it took us about 30 mins to put up the first time. Sold it after that as we were constantly worried that my daughters dog would tear it and we wanted one we could leave up as on a seasonal pitch. Some love them, some don't.
Has anyone been away with their Rally Air yet? We are hoping to get one having seen our son with his inflatable tent last year. We couldn't get over stable it was, especially in high winds.

We have just bought the outdoor revolution oxygen porch awning. Going to try it this weekend. We love our kampa rally pro 390 but just wanted something quicker for 2 night stays. It only has one air pole so hopefully should be up nice and quick.

How long does it take to put up the Kampa? I was hoping it would be ok for a week-end stay..

We have the pro 260. Fantastic awning takes 15 minutes to put up and 5 to take down.
