Thinking of an overnight stay locally this weekend in our new van and was wondering what other people did about not getting their water supply and pipework frozen if there is a heavy frost overnight.
We use an old padded coat zipped round the aqua roll and stand it on something to keep it off the ground , never frozen up yet, even in -7, and we keep the heating on low in the van to stop the pipes freezing. we use bottled water so even if we do freeze we can still have a drink
Agree with everyone here, never had a problem with an aqua roll freezing yet but when it has been really cold I have taken the filter and pipe inside. We always keep a few bottles of water inside the van and given the fact that you will be sleeping in there it will keep the air temp up slightly too.
Mind you given the forcast for the weather for the weekend I would worry more about getting mud in your new van ! Will someone tell this rain we have had enough now please !! lol
We always make sure the water barrel is full to the top and empty the waste also bring the external pump indoors leave heating on low and never really had a problem..
