Hi.
I have never dealt with a dealer before,so Can anyone tell me how to approach one with a view to part exchanging my 'van for a newer one,do you have to physically tow your van to their premises for inspection and valuing or, what else do you do.
The reason I ask is because I have been on two dealers websites where they give you the opportunity to send the details for valuation,one was to part/ex my van for one costing 12000,(two e mails)and the other advertised asking for vans younger then the year 2000 against one of theirs that I liked the look of,(mine is 2007)neither have responded to my e mails,both have a decent reputation, so I am very disappointed in their lack of a response.Both are situated some distance from me,so I'm trying to get an approx value to avoid a wasted journey,
Has anyone else attempted to value a 'van this way,if so what was your experience.
