My registration document from CRiS has finally come after chasing it for 18 months but im confused as I my caravan is listed on the document as a Swift Chorus (Lincoln) when I have a Sterling Europa 500 C.
It seems a long time to wait as it should only take a few weeks but just do the obvious and contact them with your query. It's no different to having a vehicle registration document for your car when it states a Ford Focus and you actually own a Vauxhall Astra.

You will need to physically check the VIN plate on the caravan against the one shown on the CRiS document to ensure that they match.
My guess is someone has either written a wrong number down, or entered a wrong number on the computers at CRiS.
Either way, try to take a photo of the VIN plate and include that as proof of the correct make & model to the van and express the need for a quick resolution
I refuse to pay for registering. I keep the certificate, email CRIS with the reg no. And all details and when they reply to me telling me how to Register, I print their reply and keep that as proof that they know I have it to show to a purchaser years down the line. No one has ever questioned that (trade or private) and I have sold many over the years.

quick question, I bought a caravan at the very beginning of December and dealer showed me (and gave me copy) they had faxed form to CRIS to change ownership.
Should I have had something from CRIS paperwork wise
