Well we went and did it, bought our first caravan. We collected it on Saturday and drove straight to a site we had booked.
It is a new to us 2005 Elddis Oddysey 505. So far love it we both had a go at towing and playing with the mover we had fitted such a fab piece of kit.
Despite the thunderstorm and hail we were warm as toast. Looking forwards to our next trip.

We have had the fc since new and loved that and had some great holidays. But the past year we have felt we needed more space as kids are now nearly all teenagers, took us a long time to finally decide but so far happy.
Definitely planning lots of trips as we purchased Merlin passes for this year

Oh enjoy definitely exciting and nervous at the same time. Not sure when we will be off again maybe half term. Just waiting for the rain to stop so we can open up the fc and move things over to the van.

We've bought our first new-to-us caravan and unfortunately it is having some major repairs due to hail storm damage - and we've not even towed it yet, yet alone used it!!! Am hoping it will be ready for March when we do our one and only tow to its seasonal pitch - really can't wait!!
