Just to add my bit, try not to apply it using sticky pads if it's cold, damp, or wet. The plate WILL fall off as the adhesive will not be able to cure properly.
It is best to apply it in temperatures above 10dec celsius. Difficult in the winter I know.
As suggested, 4 strips is a good idea, and use the thicker 6mm strips (like these ones) rather than the thin strips.

Where can you buy cheese wire ?
Ebay of course.
Funny I thought I said that, and put a link to it.........
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Or you can look on ebay ,put in your car reg and you can buy a stick on number plate which you just peel off the backing and stick it over your existing plate. I have just done it cos I changed my car and needed a temporary plate.
Remove the old number plate.
Clean the muck off and polish before fitting new plate.
If it is very cold when applying the stickies warm the surface and the stickies up GENTLY before application. Makes sure the surfaces are properly dry as well.
Hairdryer or hot air gun is good.
Warm the surfaces; DON'T COOK THEM!
