we have just changed our 4 berth Fleetwood as it was 13 yrs old and we wanted a smaller van as the grandkids no longer come with us. we have got a swift 470 about 2005 2006 new to us model .It was the nicest one we saw just it has a middle kitchen and we have always been used to a side kitchen .Has anyone got a middle kitchen and got any tips thanks
I take it by middle kitchen you mean end kitchen? Can't help you with any hints but I do like that layout.maybe when all my lot have flown the nest and I downsize, that's something I can consider lol.
Enjoy the van and get some pics up

no the middle kitchen is at the side of thr van opposite the door although the cooker goes across the back its a swift 470 2 berth if you look at Glossop they have one in there just feels a bit smaller but then we have downsized
I haven't got one but we did seriously consider one. In the end we decided against it because the position of the wardrobe made the van feel very cramped to us and the front seats were slightly too short to use as singles.
I think if they'd managed to squeeze the wardrobe into the washroom we'd have bought it like a shot as the kitchen area was excellent
yes that whats worrying me we not been away in it yet might feel a bit small but we have a really big skylight so its nice and bright and now have a full awning not a porch so we should have plenty of room. But there is plenty of room to pass x
My mum and my sis both have end kitchens... but I find them rather poky! I have a kitchen to one side at the end (I have a funny layout with a door in the back though). Yes, it can be difficult if people are coming past you continuously - so just tell them either to sit down inside and stay there, or stay outside until the meal is cooked!
my kitchen is not fully at the end if you can imagine a bunt then the kitchen going into the corner then the stove at the side of that .Then the bathroom is behind that .Yes it does have a wardrode opposite the kitchen.Would post a pic so you can see what I mean but don't know how to
Just uploaded a picture of the kitchen on my gallery so you can see what I mean dosent seem small its just we are used to a 4 berth might take us a while to get used to a 2 berth
