Hi everyone im getting the van ready for our second year, I was just wondering how much would I expect to pay for a pre season service ( roughly ). Everything seems fine and I winterised it thoroughly with the help and advice of forum members. I wont be taking it to a dealer I will be using a mobile repair / service guy.
I go with the mobile option,£140 NCC reg'ed,watched him the last service and he did a proper job, changed the wheel nuts, greased, damp tested etc' took three+hours, told me I needed to change my tyres as they were over their sell by date.
All in all.I was very happy with the service, called him back to fit my motor mover,£90,another good result
I go with the mobile chap as well. I have a chassis check every other year, and in the intervening years I have a gas and electric check.
A gas and electric check is much cheaper than a habitation check, if you're sure there's no damp, etc. And a chassis check sorts out the running gear. Both cost me around £70-£80 the last time I had them done.

I think you mean changed hub nuts. That is standard on alko chassis that have oneshots fitted. 140 is around the average forafull service.

Our van is in for its first service as I type, think its around £200 with Leisure Sales whom we purchased it from.
I took it back to the dealer for the job as there are other things I wanted doing so it was more of a "for ease" situation rather than using a mobile one :)
