I don't know why, but Lunar have chopped the number of Dealers that they have in Scotland. We now only have two Dealers to cover the country, quite disappointing.
On a personal level, I have went from a 20 mile round trip to either 160 or 428 mile round trip
Looks like a brand change when the time comes.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I have now had a further email from Lunar saying that although the two dealers mentioned are 'it' for 2014, they are looking for others.

That's easy for you to say Bob, as your just round the corner so to speak
In all seriousness, while holidaying in that area, we went for a nosey at they're place the first year they took Lunar on, and the guys were extremely helpful. Just a tad too far for us.

Maybe that new "Strongbuild" or whatever Compass are calling their construction method is the attraction, or could it be a twin axle salary that got him to hitch up with the group. He is certainly, touring the manufacturers with a sales pitch. A real mover. Ok enough already.
I thought this was exclusively a "Jock" thread, but welcome to Bryan the Geordie as well (even if visiting from the dark side - perhaps the draw of the tin tent is pulling you from the canvas shelters?)
Thamks for the welcome Oxter...I,m almost a jock and if they ever rebuild the big wall I will make sure I,m on the north side of it! I do have an interest in tin-tents as my job depends on them and like to know whats happening out there..some of the manufacturers could do themselves a favour and spend a while reading these forums!!!I,m not ready to commit to tin-tent lifestyle just yet...but never say never eh? I have -however-just aquired a military sleeping bag and goretex bivvy bag---top gear! So I dont even need a tent now! Mrs. isnt too happy about this development. The construction method you refer to is called "solid"---strong, light and dry and they are so confident in its strength that slide-outs are almost certain to appear soon. Enjoy ...Back to the dark-side for me.
