compleated a 350 mile trip today down the M6 M5 A30 to Cornwal and only saw four caravans on the whole trip.
I thought being half term we would see a few more than this
Where are you all or is it just to cold

We are away for half term ... though we only get a long weekend, back to school on Tuesday for an in-service day, kids back Wednesday.

Site is very quiet. Mostly couples, not many kids.

Maybe it is to do with the wind and rain. I have being waiting to go away for a weekend since the new year but would not wish to get caught out with the extreme weather conditions.

Really surprised you saw any. Coastal areas down south have been beaten black & blue, we have had torrential rains for 7 weeks, the ground is at best waterlogged if not flooded, thousands are flooded out and now this weekend we have been subjected to gale/hurricane force winds.

Not ideal for camping or caravanning.

Just give a hand with the sand bags.

Our caravan is serviced at this half term so we are ready for the season, but the earliest we go is Easter. It is just too windy and awful for towing atm. We have severe flooding on Somerset levels and I think Cornwall has also been severely affected as well as lots of other areas so not ideal holidaying situations.

our half term isnt till next week..so we are going on fri 23 when kids have broke up .... but only going for a long weekend to test new van out....

We were planning to go away but severe weather conditions made us change our minds. Had the van home for the day to clean and warm up/air. Hoping to go away in March. Weather doesn't normally stop us but this has been too awful.

We are the same . Looks as though march first trip out,, Bringing van home during the week to air /heat up and have serviced then roll on march and as many days as possible away
