We did the worst thing possible and bought our 2 berth through Ebay.. ( we did view before buying) but she really is a wonderful caravan.
Top of the range in her day..
Last year we just took her down on site and found out the problems..
Damp in the rear bathroom .. sorted with the help of wizard!
Damp in the front lower side where the awning goes .. sorted again thanks to wizzard
roof vent in the toilet had water running straight through during a storm on site ... sorted
Now we are having all the external rails removed and re fitted ..£350
bathroom back in and a gas check and we are good to go for another 12 months .. maybe longer
Call me stupid but this caravan cost us £1200 on ebay early last year .. we have already had one seasons use..
I really love this caravan, she hits all the marks for what we want ..
Do not get me started on the fantastic second hand awning off ebay that has just been sent off for cleaning and reproofing

Nothing wrong with buying off e-bay so long as your careful and bear in mind some things are not always as people say. I bought my caravan off e-bay 4 years ago now and it's a lovely little van, not a sign of damp anywhere and every thing worked. Got a new full awning and a porch awning with it plus all pots & pans and things. I went to see it first before making an offer. (have a slight problem with the fridge now which I will be getting sorted) Looking forward to our 1st trip out for this year in April.
